“Death Bells” is new off Soulsavers third LP Broken due August 18, and features vocals from Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees & Gibby Haynes of Butthole Surfers. other collaborators who get face on the album include Jason Pierce (Spiritualized, Spacemen 3), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk), and Richard Hawley (Butthole Surfers). The Soulsavers Soundsystem are keen to dish out proper no frill rock and roll. and we can’t wait to get our hands on Broken… especially if “Death Bells” serves an indicator

Arctic Monkeys - “Crying Lightening”
Arctic Monkeys new single “Crying Lightening” is familiar and different in all the right ways. it’s a departure from there more “pop” single predecessors, and builds to be a solid track. off there upcoming LP Humbug to be released in late August, with several tracks produce by Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age.

other depeche mode news… recently front man Dave Gahan was rushed to hospital on May 12 after suffering a severe bout of gastroenteritis. Tests revealed a low-grade malignant tumor in Dave’s bladder, which has since been removed. world tour resumes June 8th…
