Grapell – Some Places

We’ve posted Swedish duo Grapell a couple of times knocked out by their wistful at times sax-driven dark pop. “Some Places” (from the band’s upcoming “Love Chamber” EP out September 30th) is a very good new track from the duo that sticks to a similar aesthetic as previous tracks like “Arrow” while exploring more spacious arrangement ideas.

Grapell – Arrow

grapell

“Arrow” is the new sax-heavy (yes!) rhodes-driven (yes! x2) mid-tempo jam from Swedish duo Grapell. A track of the hushed, vaguely soulful, rhythm-led sort that is an easy mark for the B3 team, “Arrow” is a very special accomplished track that needs your ears. Listen.

Grapell – Shaping My Love

grapel

Grapell is the Swedish twosome of Emil Erstrand and Nils Nygardh. Rhodes/808s-driven dark pop track “Shaping My Love” is the lead song on the duo’s very good new “Friends” EP.
