The mega-talented Josef Salvat returns today with the excellent dark pop of “Shoot and Run”. While slightly more robust in its arrangement and maybe a bit more accessible around its edges, “Shoot and Run” is another brilliant entry in the young Australian’s spotless record of terrific singles. Framed within verses of dramatic strings and lurching electronics is “Shoot and Run”‘s exultant, infinitely singable, and starmaking choruses. A+++++++
