We like the straightforward sweet-sentimentality and sunny-dreamy vivid-emotive soul-inspired undercurrent of “Something About You” the hit dance-centric jam from artist/vocalist Hayden James; a track which recently received a beautifully creative jolt from B3-featured artist ODESZA. On their new sparkling synth-led muted-reverb-y atmospheric remix of the track the true-to-style dynamic duo ODESZA captivate us again with their graciously-expansive vocal spin, brightly-textured natural-leaning percussion, and cohesive angelic-tribal-vibe vocal accents. Lovely remix. Reviewed by Erin Shay.
Haywyre’s new official remix of “All We Need” by Odesza is a feel-good, futuristic take on the original that deserves your attention. The catchy synth layers together perfectly with the upbeat bassline and smooth keyboard section. There are a lot of remixes of Odesza floating around the internet right now, but this is easily one of the best ones – hands down. Reviewed by Daniel.

Legendary Bedrock Records production duo John Digweed and Nick Muir (whose 90’s Trainspotting soundtrack helped to define the modern progressive house genre) transform Odesza’s enchanting and poppy “All We Need” into a seamless tranced-out club remix with a brilliantly bemused techno-dance beat. The much lauded Seattle duo found their way to the iconic Fonda Theater in Hollywood this past Saturday. The sold out gig delighted fans with thundering drums and a brilliant light show. Personally, I was having a terrible night till Odesza took the stage and things soon took a complete 180 degree turn. I felt alive, and full of positivity just by hearing their music. Their live sound is certainly not one to miss.
“Say My Name” is another runaway hit for the very consistent ODESZA. One of our favorite producers anywhere right now SteLouse takes in a brand new remix a broad-palette swing at “Say My Name”. Mixing trap-y rhythmic structures with crossover instrumentation and elements of hip hop sprinkled throughout, the resulting mix is another standout for SteLouse.
The impressive Odesza chalk up an equally impressive placement credit as they join M83, Ellie Goulding, A$AP Rocky, etc on the ostensibly blogger-friendly Divergent soundtrack with their big drums, big synths new mix for Pretty Lights’ “Lost and Found”.
“Saolo” by Beat Connection puts on an outfit for the big dance rooms with this remix from production duo ODESZA. The two Seattle collectives will be heading out on tour together early this May. It’s not a tour to be missed. Catch the dates below and spin the ODESZA remix of “Saola” below.
