Wow. WHERE HAS THIS TRACK BEEN HIDING? The R&B-infused (This descriptor doesn’t do this track nearly enough justice, it’s not R&B-infused like just about every two-bit remix out there atm. This is that real R&B)”Moonrunner” by rising Irish producer Clu is ridiculously good. So good, in fact, we’re just gonna go ahead and end this blurb right now and let you listen.

Brother Troy Ave. grabs Candy Cane Mac Miller for his newest White Christmas drop. The Cy Fyre produced track sports a soul-sampling beat so fresh, you’re prob gonna need to change yo pants, ’cause the ones you’re wearing right now ain’t gonna get you anywhere on that dance floor. Nice look.

Yeah, your b3sci crew is in love too and Fare Soldi is to blame. The Italian producer laces up Viceroy with a tight snare and a punchy kick (Thx for the tip btw, boys!) and adds an atmosphere/backdrop invoking some serious drama and gravitas. We’re doing our praying mantis/Reptar dance. Two arms extended, bouce dem hands like a Reptar. Now you’re doing a Reptar dance too.

Whoa. Finish Ticket are a new band out of our new hood of San Francisco and the accomplished indie rock of “Doctor” is the band’s lead single from the upcoming debut Pierre de Reeder (Rilo Kiley) full length. “Doctor” is impressive; not just melodically or technically, the song is impressively real. There are no poses or goofy postures just A+ indie rock and roll that reminds, for us at least, of some of the genre’s greats. Get familiar with the Finish Ticket kids below.

Asap Rocky’s debut LongLiveASAP is due to drop on January 15th – and this track wants to make sure everybody knows how important that’s going to be: “1Train” goes in heavy and squeezes a plethora of big names into 6 minutes of triumphant beats, think of this as 2012’s executive summary of hip-hop. Squad Ra Ra Riot embrace the sounds of 2012 on their lead single from their upcoming third LP Beta Love. The updating of the upstate New York band’s sound is not something we’re complaining about though. “When I Dream” can be described as “tastefully crisp” or “thoughtfully polished”, the band’s arrangements and melodic construction also take a step up. First single, check and we’ll be up on the album when it drops in January. Church.

The Neighbourhood rule. We are expecting things to get “real major” in 2013. Check out the band’s newest release, the Dave Gahan on the left bank of the Seine if he was really into Teddy Pendergrass sound of “A Little Death”.

The Recycle Culture crew put on good reason to revisit the Chromatics’ excellent “These Street Will Never Look the Same” track from earlier this year. Outfitting it with sharp snares and a dubbed up milieu, RC get a b3sci atta boy for their update. Atta-boy.

The b3sci alt country express pulls up to b3sci inbox terminal with beautiful raft of melodies from Caitlin Rose. “I Was Cruel”, from a songwriting perspective, is beautiful. Those melodies are tops. The hooks, subtle yet magnetic. It’s Rose’s soothing vocal though that really gives cause for notice. Look out for Ms. Rose’s The Stand-In LP due on ATO in March.
