“Shatter”, the latest from Brighton band GAPS, is set to a minimal (almost hymnal) aesthetic ruddered around hypnotic whirl of repeated synth stabs and arpeggios. We’re very into “Shatter’s” fresh, trend-agnostic sound.

This track does exactly what it says it’s going to do: it takes you on a J O U R N E Y. Nostalgic symphonic sounds add comfort and ease to this track. Let jinsang’s track, “Journey” wash away your worries and destress your mind. Enjoy.
Deep house is the word(s) on “Upstream”, the dreamy new late night track from Skinnydip. Featuring a set of bars from OG Maco and Lil Yachty collaborator Brandon Thomas and additional production from Tei Shi producer Luca, “Upstream” is an accomplished bit of vibe-y dance music that we’re very much into. Skinnydip are the NYC-based twosome of Jon Hill and Sandro Buccellatti.
Streaming below is “Coast 2 Coast” an excerpt from Melbourne AU artist Mike Katz a/k/a Harvey Sutherland’s new “Expectations” EP. The six-track EP will be released a week from today (3/24) on Sutherland’s own label Clarity Recordings. “Coast 2 Coast” is a rhodes-driven bit of beachside funk topped off with just enough mellowness in its syncopations to set the right vibe at nearly any hour of the day.
The jazz tones-laced “Morning Shift” is excerpted below from Montreal producer Project Pablo’s upcoming “Scented Trip” EP for Spring Theory
UK producer Cody Currie will release his forthcoming “Beer Machine” EP through Better Listen Records. A component part of the EP is the ace as hell jazz-tinged groove of “Dynamite” which is available for your streaming perusal below.
StéLouse links up with talented 19-year old newcomer Mascolo (check that vocal tone, oooh wee) for soulful new number “Shivers N Gold”. Particularly special on “Shivers N Gold” is the stickiness/magnetism of the track’s pocket and how well it frames Mascolo’s super strong vocal. A+ track.
Dream Beach’s latest track “The Kiss of a Century” (Feat. Cub) takes you on an emotional journey. Unlike the producer’s previous work, Dream Beach approached this track with more of a stripped down feel by creating a track that’s beautiful through it’s simplicities. “The Kiss of a Century” is giving me all the feels. Listen and see for yourself.
Right on. Of we course, we love this! The latest remix entry from one Tom Misch is a re-imagining of Michael Kiwanuka’s 10-minute opus “Cold Little Heart” complete with a pitched-up main vocal, jazzy guitars, and a cooled-out vaugely house-y rhythm track. Michael Kiwanuka’s Love & Hate LP is available now.
Out now on Distant Hawaii is the “All the Reasons” EP from French producer Sweely. A sharp mix of after hours synth tones juxtaposed to beefed up club-y drums “All the Reasons” (featured here) is the EP’s title track.
New track “Foul Play” teams up Australian producer Mookhi with vocalist Billy Fox. For “Foul Play”, Mookhi selects for a quieting whiz of cool electronics steadied by a hushed rhythm track groove; vocalist Billy Fox’s main melody lines are similarly chilled and fluid. “Foul Play” is sampled from Mookhi’s forthcoming “Lost & Found” EP, due on February 24th.
