Andrea – Work the Middle (Kodak to Graph Remix)

By Erin Shay

Kodak to Graph works the middle and elevates it with a slow burner and serious compliment to “Work the Middle” by Andrea. It’s soulful and smooth around all-the-right-edges and has the gradual harmonic clarity and the fancy of an old style cartoon. Kodak to Graph takes you on a subtle atmospheric trip as resolute and refreshing as a full system reset. Turn it up!

Usher – Climax (Alain Lalonde Remix)

By Jon Herriot

Alain Lalonde is back with another remix! This time Usher’s Diplo-produced track ‘Climax’ (a b3sci favorite). There’s really two things I have to say about this remix. First, Alain adds some bounce to the track, especially during some of Usher’s vocals. Secondly, he cranks up the heat. If you aren’t careful, you’ll get smacked in the face at about the 4:45 mark. I like what I have seen so far from Alain Lalonde, he has this unique funky style, but doesn’t forget that you have to get the beats smashing sometimes to get a crowd jacked up.

Tom Vek – You’ll Stay

Contributed by Nathan Hetherington

tom-vek

So Tom Vek’s new video (below) takes us on an emotional journey through love and betray, all while taking in a total of 17 wheelies on a remote controlled monster truck! You’ll stay is actually another top quality tune from Vek, so if a few easy low budget videos means we don’t have to wait 5 years for another album then we’re all all for it. (Truck not listed on eBay yet, which is a shame)
