“Dreamer” is the title track from a forthcoming new EP by Welsh producer Dellux for MTA Records. “Dreamer” gets its bread on a cool blend of unexpected turns in the production and rhythmic choices (there’s a fidelity to the rhythm tracks that feels new) and a well-pitched bit of atmosphere for the late night club. We like it.
We’re into the decadent disco atmospherics, deep vibe-y tropical dance grooves and poignant interludes of metallic percussion on “C’mon Back” the new rhythm-based dance jam from UK vet artist Raw-Artes (recently covered here). Reviewed by Erin Shay.
Get familiar with new-to-B3 LA-based beats-maker, electro producer, and multi-talented musician Goodnight Cody, who describes his signature toy-beats sound (in a vid on FB) as an electronic lullaby. We love his vibrantly cinematic percussion-heavy future-infused vintage 70’s film-noir-vibe hip-hop track “West Adams” (which is a shout out to a neighborhood in South L.A.). Excellent. Check out the sensational new dreamy-whimsical airy-ambient synth-infused house track appropriately named “Clouds” from Newcastle UK male-female duo Monday Morning. A superbly calming combination of dynamic instrumentals, “Clouds”, is a picture perfect introduction to the pair’s debut “Clouds” EP (out now on Medium Rare Recordings). Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Young multi-genre producer, guitarist and solo artist Atolla gives a shout out to Nas and samples “Life’s A Bitch” on his latest bass-heavy hip-hop production called “Life”. We like how Atolla (who’s new to B3) mixes up the classic tune with a timeless meld of syrupy beats, snappy technicolor chord-heavy instrumentals, and velvety vocal flow. Great track. LA-artist SNBRN (never featured on B3) takes an unreleased a cappella sample from late West Coast hip-hop pioneer Nate Dogg and transforms it into a dazzling Rudimental-vibe-vocals-tinged dance jam “Gangsta Walk”. Reviewed by Erin Shay.
B3-fave house producer TÂCHES joins forces with London-based Mallorcan artist KAASI (covered here for his deep remix of “Foolish” by Blonde & Ryan Ashley) on a magnetic new remix of Anna Of the North track “The Dreamer”. We’re fully enjoying the latest acoustic guitar tinged synth-y atmospheric French-touch telefunk gem from B3-featured Parisian artist Thomas Fontana, who we covered here recently for his outstanding clap-enhanced instrumentals-leaning lounge-y Brazilian-vibe beats track named “Somewhere”. We’re listening to Mr. Fontana’s latest song “Changes” and although its not quite as incredible as “Somewhere” it still hits the excellent echelon. “Changes”, which features a sublimely cheerful weave of beats, vibrant trippy-psychedelic (Doors-vibe) chord-drenched effects and a nicely understated meld of vocal atmospherics, has us excited to hear more tunes from Mr. Fontana. We’re into the latest XLRXR-rep’d tune called “All The Same” from Berlin-based producer/DJ & live act Vincent Vedat, who learned his production craft at music school in Transylvania. A Chicago house-influenced b-side off Vedat’s four-track vinyl-only Hustle record, “All The Same” sports a cooly-expansive slightly-reserved combination of moody-watery synth accents, light n’ sensual rock steady beats and repetitive-natured moody-poetic atmospheric club-inspired vocal touches. On the heels of his trap-percussion-drenched falsetto-vocals-tinged ambient atmospheric melodic wonder “No Doubt”, Netherlands producer Sensi Sye turns in luminous instrumental track “Be With You”. Lovely. We recommend the track for its fantastic finely-tuned blend of simple percussion, shimmery synth effects and divine keyboard melody. Reviewed by Erin Shay.
