We adore the brilliant funked-out trumpet-washed simplicity of new track “Funky Style” the second joint-production between New York rhythm and culture duo Break Science and Chicago solo artist Manic Focus. The song, which showcases B3-recent feature NYC funk band Lettuce, is a well-composed lulling-meld of hooky dance-friendly instrumentals matched up beautifully with a super-catchy sample of A$AP Mob’s “Trillmatic”. Quite possibly my favorite track of this week is the stunning “Found Someone” from Tasty Treat featuring Tribes. The bit from the start to about 1:30 that’s this crazy melange of jazzy pianos, very subtly trap-tinged beats and Tribes’ heart-shredding vocal is so so good. On repeat 24/7.

Favorite Moon Boots drops off a warm-touch house-y new one called “Red Sky”. The minor-keyed dance number traverses a more obtuse broader region of the Moon Boots sound that inhabits somewhere near the orbit of artists like Darius and Cherokee. We like it. “Red Sky” is out now on Anjunadeep.

London producer fwdslxsh woos us with a slow and sensual voluptuously-synthed-out picturesque-nature-inspired symmetry on his cooly dynamic quiet-moody delight called “Enough” which we are especially vibing with for its sublime-wallowy vocals and sweet tranquil-side guitar accents from Kiran Kai.
