Swedish house producer Johan Cederberg aka HNNY shares breezy new single for label Let’s Play House. “Solsidan” is built on a vaguely South American-styled groove and a looped breathy female vocal that functions in step with the rhythm track. The enigmatic duo Mao Ra Sun link up with the UK’s leading lady Lulu James on “I Won’t Take You Back” a fusion of dreamy synths, pulsating basslines and sultry vocals. The pair remark “The instrumental of “I Won’t Take You Back” was our ode to Control era Janet Jackson slow jams, as soon as Lulu laid her vocals down it took it to a whole new level though.” We think you’ll enjoy the unique sounds of Mao Ra Sun, go ahead and give it a spin. “Earth Not Above” is the second track from background info-scarce UK act HÆLOS. On “Earth Not Above”, the band take current trends in UK electronic music and an infuse a Massive Attack/ latter-days Depeche Mode-styled sense of space and fidelity creating a cool and (most mercifully) refreshing sound.
NYC-based producer Figgy revamps Brandy-sampling 2015 standout “REAL” (from LA-based 90’s house/R&B mixmaster Le Youth) for a sublimely centered, vibrantly catchy new electro-soul dance track to top this week’s playlist. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Haywyre’s new official remix of “All We Need” by Odesza is a feel-good, futuristic take on the original that deserves your attention. The catchy synth layers together perfectly with the upbeat bassline and smooth keyboard section. There are a lot of remixes of Odesza floating around the internet right now, but this is easily one of the best ones – hands down. Reviewed by Daniel.
