“There’s No Love” is the new single from French Express resident space traveler Moon Boots. Infectious and very much in the style that Moon Boots has seemed to fashion and carve out for himself, this house track will no doubt be included into playlists around the world. Check for Moon Boots and the French Express crew currently touring the UK and soon playing select cities in the states with Henry Krinkle. Reviewed by Brian Litwin.

Creature In The Woods is the project Tyler Morrisette. The Brooklyn-based Morrisette has just released his self titled EP and we must say that it is quite impressive. Mixing hip-hop, down tempo, and dance, Creature in the Woods mixes up an infectious sound and vibe. A standout track in the four song set is the borderline lounge-y, “Centuries” with its tight drums and hypnotic strummed chords. Listen/download here. Also, best name of the year has to go to “In My Spaceship”-featured artist Stan Ipcus. Reviewed by Brian Litwin.

Laura Doggett’s “Moonshine” single gets another A-List remix, this time from Chicago-based Gilligan Moss. Moss, who topped the Hypem chart in April with his outstanding remix for Glass Animals, adds a diverse and progressive rhythm and instrumental construction around the Doggett single with A++ results.

Anonymous UK artist(s) Fine Print make B3 debut on the dreamy soft touch R&B of “About You”. Fine Print’s track sits very much within the scope and realm of 2014 dance indie/R&B whatever you’d like to call it but excels in the originality department through its forward thinking arranging (hints of house and balearic-y elements creep in the mix) and unique instrumentation (try throwing a saxophone solo over “future beats” and not have it come off as hokey). 10/10.

I am somewhat shocked that Christina Perri hasn’t been on some more popular remixes in the blog world. Her voice almost seems like a perfect candidate for a proper Hypem-leaning flip. Enter Canadian (now Brooklyn based) Bit Funk who incorporates the catchy as hell chorus melody and swerving it from Perri’s original song throws a clinic on how to turn a pop song into a club smash. Attaque is the ethereal pop project of techno artist Dominic Gentry (Kitsune, Turbo, Boys Noize). ON LY OU is the stunning debut album for Gentry as Attaque and showcases a superior lot of dreamy, visceral modern pop fixed within a frame of layered, pinpoint perfect rhythm tracks (the sort of breaks achievable by a dance vet). Single “Future Earth” with Native Young is one of the most accomplished tracks in its style this year as Gentry’s varied palette does well in helping forge a unique but immensely listenable and affecting sound. ON LY OU is available now for pre-order through Rough Trade and worldwide tomorrow 11/4. Stream the B3 Premiere of Attaque’s ON LY OU LP below.
