Premiere: Atticus Thatcher – Make a Move

What a song. Newcomer Atticus Thatcher comes to us originally from South Carolina. “Make a Move” is propelled by a subtle but no less potent funky groove and Thatcher’s cool quick fire percussive vocal cadence. From the track’s outset, “I’ve got this whiskey in my hand…” the melodic phrasing is focused and sharp, and for the listener (and likely most within earshot) it’s all toe taps and head bobs from the start. We’ve been jamming “Make a Move” in heavy rotation for a few days now so we’re especially pleased to share this one. Stream the B3SCI Premiere of “Make a Move” by Atticus Thatcher below.

Jazz Morley – Safe Place

Is it weird that I spend more time stalking people on Spotify than I do on Facebook? Oh well, I found a downtempo gem out of it. Jazz Morley delivers major melodies on “Safe Place,” a chilled out track about wanting to feel close to someone you’re no longer close with. This riveting track is worth a listen.

Taska Black – Where We Go

Antwerp-based producer Taska Black produces dark, deep vibes on his newest track, “Where We Go.” Orchestral elements and a hard hitting bass create a unique blend of sounds. It’s the best of both worlds, a beauty and a banger.

LUNAR – Pretty Face

LUNAR follows on from the excellent “Glad You Stayed” from last month with equally strong latest “Pretty Face”. The track spins an especially intimate quality, as if being beam directly from the recording board/laptop straight to your headphones, that makes “Pretty Face” all that more magnetic.
