“Superego” is new from Viennese duo Leyya. Featuring kinetic production, a well-measured synth bounce and a punchy alto vocal, “Superego” grabbed our attention immediately and should do the same for you when hitting play below.
The lazily paced, lightly hushed down-tempo undertone and boldly emotive synth accoutrements combine beautifully with a gorgeous vocal dynamic on new track “Tide Teeth” from Reno’s low-profile indie band, Night Beds, who are a featured artist on the Dead Oceans Label.

Singer-songwriter Janelle Kroll, who studied Theatre at Northwestern, seduces with her uniquely gifted vocal prowess on new incredibly fresh alt-rock track “Numb”. The young Chicagoan turned New Yorker has a straightforward vocal style, slow calculated instrumental pace and deconstructed intensely-emotive lyrics which translate into a cool meld that sounds like something between Alt-J and Alanis Morsette.
