Following her feature on Louis The Child’s “Fire” and her widely covered mashup cover of “The Hills x Nightcall,” newcomer Evalyn unveils her official solo debut “Filthy Rich,” a plush, late-night confessional that runs on the singer’s heady R&B and jazz-tinged alto. “I thought you knew I’m filthy rich, I thought you knew I never answered my phone,” she coos, reveling in the out-all-night, DGAF mentality.
Produced by Billie Eilish “Ocean Eyes” collaborator Finneas O’Connell, “Filthy Rich” is a song for all the independent women. “If I turn into a song when i die, I want it to be this,” Evalyn says about the track. “It’s got bite.”
“Filthy Rich” is available now via B3SCI Records.
