Product Description
Brimming with eccentricity, bizarro-pop provocateur NANCY releases his colourful catalogue of warped psychedelia ‘Happy Oddities’ (EP).
Encapsulating pop meets strange through a blender and put back together in his own way, NANCY’s pop-oriented melodies, dreamy undertones and enigmatic, hard-to-pin style are reaffirmed throughout his newest batch of songs, with pulsating lead single ‘Call Me On Your Telephone’, melancholic follow-up ‘Orange Yellow Orange’ and trippy cover ‘Happy Days (As Made Famous By The TV Show)’ firmly catapulting the accidental rising star (and multi-personality auteur) back into the spotlight.
Speaking of his EP release, NANCY explains: “In the past I was always anxious to make NANCY songs super explosive and as immediate as possible, but as Frank Zappa said: “Necessity is the mother of invention”, and with that sentiment I threw caution to the wind. Now, I feel calm enough to just let it flow. Be at peace with whichever way my self expression comes out…I probably am pretentious (lol), but I guess I jus’ don’ give a fuck anymore. That’s ‘Happy Oddities’.
NANCY’s ‘Happy Oddities’ EP is released August 7th via B3SCI Records.
