Statik Selektah laces up something fresh for Gibbs on “Keep It Warm For Ya”. We’re talking super smooth track here. Maybe the smoothest shit you’ll listen to today.

Freddie Gibbs – Keep It Warm For Ya (feat. Smoke DZA & Chace Infinite)Delilah first caught our attention with her lights out vocal on the “Time” record she did with Chase & Status. Next followed the breathtaking “Breathe”. (seriously, listen to this girl sing. crazy.) Offered up now is the track for “Go” which is a collaboration with East London production duo Balistiq. “Go” is another strong track, stylistically between “Time” and “Breathe”, “Go” lives sonically somewhere between dub, trip-hop, garage, and harder electro. If that sounds like a stew you’d like to sample, then check on the track below.

When we first heard “Bad On the Bottle”, we thought, oh no here we go again! Bago must be yet another pseudonym for James Blake – given the track’s Winehouse-esque vocals and future garage sound. But actually…Bago is a super talented artist out of LA. NOT James Blake.
Bago – Bad On the Bottle (Prod. Alexander Spit)Open wide, here comes the heater. Think we’ll be hearing a lot of more of “Bad Girls Club” on hip hop radio over the next couple months.

As much as we love the smooth tones of Pete Tong’s supple baritone. We couldn’t wait to get to you the CDQ version of Calvin Harris’ excellent “Feel So Close” without the Tongman talking all over it. So here goes…. Play it loud. Play it proud. p.s. Lunchtime, I feel so close to you right now!

RAC continue their worldbeating tour of nonstop jams with their latest mix. This time its “Silly Fathers” by Brooklyn band Rubblebucket. RAC re-style the tune with dancier textures that will make you feel like your inside a 2011 version of Paul Simon’s “Graceland” video, if 1986 Paul Simon was your really cool time travellin’ bud. He’s ours (one of the benefits of blogging for b3sci), so if you’re up for an introduction 1) check this track 2) tweet at us 3) ??? 4) _______

It’s here! “So American”, the lead single from P. The Man’s upcoming In the Mountain, In the Cloud LP, may sound like an outtake from a David Bowie Ziggy Stardust session, but we still love it! Get sucked up into Portugal’s mind below.

Might suck not to be human in a human-dominated society. (Unless you’re a dog or a penguin or some other creature humans are into.) The bunny-masked (humans (non-farmers) also love bunny rabbits) members of Sleep Party People produce some pretty rad shit. “I’m Not Human At All” serves as a great introduction to the band’s cosmic compositions.

Best feature by a girl named Charli since Charli Baltimore! Alex Metric’s “End of the World” is equally dope beats and dope vocals. The moment that build in the prechorus resolves into the tune’s mega chorus, any pretenses you had about not breaking out your chair into some sort of spontaneous dance throwdown are likely disposed with. We are INTO IT.

“The Only Thing That Won’t Fit In Your Bag” is that song title. (rimshot). The Wandering Bears are (what appears to be from their photos) a six piece out of Iowa City, Iowa. And with that, are easily our favorite band from Iowa City, Iowa. “Bag” caught our ears with its catchy melodies, playful lyrics, and sweet syrupy harmonies. Sort of in line with the sound of a band like Belle Brigade, “Bag” would totally fit on a daytime KCRW playlist in the not so far off future.

Is Ifan Dafydd James Blake? Maybe. From the promo emails we’ve been getting, one would think no. If you listen to Gilles Peterson, one probably think yes. If you read these sorts of things, one would probably think yes. Still nothing definitive from Mr. Dafydd (or Blake lol) himself. That not settled, this new track from the Ifan camp is really really good. Turn it up.
