B3 fave Oakland five-member indie pop band Astronauts, etc. (which is led by frontman vocalist Anthony Ferraro) team up with pal Toro Y Moi for a stellar-sound guitar-riffing 70’s lounge-funk-inspired cover of “Rocket Man” which we especially appreciate for its scintillating uplifting-vibe keyboard melody. The Elton cover follows Astronauts, etc.’s soulful emotive-approached “Shake it Loose”, the fourth track to stream off their upcoming debut full-length album Mind Out Wandering which is streaming now (and is awesome) on Hype Machine and hits stores officially on September 18th.
