Caroline Smith – Magazine

No one can escape change, but few artists are met with unconditional open ears when their sound does; Caroline Smith is one of these few artists. Her transition from folk-pop to funk-pop, on “Magazine” from her forthcoming Half About Being A Woman album, shows how versatile she is musically. And while her music has always been hers, it shows how willing she is to take a risk in making the music she wants to make as she grows personally – though her charm hasn’t changed one bit.
