In July B3 featured the lavishly atmospheric jazz instrumentals and remarkable hip-hop infused production style of talented Portland producer/DJ Dallas Cotton on his ultra-smooth sultry-saxed head-turner track “Writer’s Block”. We really like Dallas Cotton’s luminous swoony-flute-enhanced dreamy-vibe textured-beats-lined new single “Something New” in which he marinates his listener in a vintage-vibe careless-breezy lonely-summer-night sentiment and creatively-showcased sultry-soulful vocal sample from r&b-heavy Major Harris.
