Outasight lets loose this new free track for “Let’s Go”. It’s got an uptempo rock/r&b (love those electric piano keys in the breakdown!) hybrid feel and should have you a-toe-tapping in no time flat. We are into it.

The Au Palais train rolls forward with the second single from the Tender Mercy EP, “Pathos”. It’s dark, it’s eerie, it’s synth-y but with enough soul/underbelly/songwriting skill to separate it (and the band) from their other dreampop-low-fi-synth peers.

We love this! “Heaven” from Shock, a new band out of SF that features Dan Judd of Sorcerer, is great. On the track, an excellent space disco bed frames up the breathy chanteuse vocals of Terri Loewenthal. Catch a little surrealist dance party below.

Music from the North! The 2011 album, To The Treetops from Norwegian group Team Me is a nice collection of songs that certainly brings to mind some well-known Canadian rockers such as Broken Social Scene and The Most Serene Republic. “With My Hands Covering Both of My Eyes I Am Too Scared to Have a Look At You Now” has a driving melody that keeps you grooving the whole time. This track features a powerful chorus by infusing choral chants, and choral harmonies. It’s pop with passion, direction, and vision. Very pretty.
