Her – Quite Like

her

“Quite Like” comes to us from Rennes, France and the duo Her. “Quite Like” dabbles in the warm heavy-in-the-air sonics that many of France’s best musical exports (Air, early Phoenix, etc) also dabble/have dabbled in. Listen.

Kudu Blue – Bones

kudublue

Brighton band Kudu Blue debut with the soulful haze pop of “Bones”. Kudu Blue’s mildly R&B-influenced sound places them into a crowded space genre-wise right now but track “Bones” excels in its heady A+ production and perfectly place and constructed melodies. We are into it.

CAPPA – In The Morning

cappa

“In the Morning” is the latest from Nashville relative newcomer CAPPA. Checking in stylistically somewhere between BANKS and Chelsea Lankes with a dash of progressive electro production tossed in, “In The Morning” is a relevant bit of forward-thinking pop that we like a lot.
