Shy Luv – Caught Up On You

Get into the smooth vocal dreamscape of pop track “Caught Up On You” from UK trio Shy Luv which is the joint collaboration between Future Classic producer Karma Kid, Armeria beat maker Jake Norman and vocalist Ryan Ashley. According to Norman in the Fader, Shy Luv wrote the opulent hip-hop leaning track within the frame of the new trio’s heat-of-the-summer head space during their first studio encounter last summer. “Caught Up On You” is available on June 8th. Hopium – Right Now

hopium

“Right Now” is a newest exercise in melodic sorcery/running laps around the competition from Aussie act Hopium. The Melbourne duo’s third track online, including breakthrough “Dreamers” which went to #1 Hypem, “Right Now” traffics in a similar type of sticky staccato instrumentation and tunefulness as “Dreamers” that marks “Right Now”s success as a viral hit all but certain.

Axel Flóvent – Dancers

Axel Promo

Icelandic songwriter Axel Flóvent follows up his Hypem Top 10 track “Forest Fires” with piano-driven new one “Dancers”. Flóvent’s easy to harmony tenor is the spark of “Dancers”, as the young Trellis Records signee vocal oscillates steadily within a pretty frame of spacious acoustics and tight fidelity drums. Axel Flóvent’s “Forest Fires” EP is out May 25th on Trellis Records.

Oslo Parks – Fiction

osloparks2

Brighton-based new favorites Oslo Parks are releasing a new single on June 8th via X Novo Records. The first track to surface from the AA-side release is “Fiction”, a sunny synth-laden take on modern indie pop that in addition to being very very good takes cool risks in its arrangement (love those staccato piano stabs) and melodic choices.

June 23rd is the date to know for “Beautiful Words”.
