Incorporating elements of mahraganat, an Egyptian style, pioneered in part by Sadat & Alaa Fifty, that contains elements of traditional Sha’by or street music, “Enta Ayez” is a dope listen and a window on another thread of TĀLĀ’s wide universe of influences.

On “Lonely Tonight”, reverbed guitars, a warm female alto and rainy-day soul/70’s-fidelity sonics create an engaging bit of platform for a very strong tune.
