Raleigh Ritchie – Never Say Die

Another of the collaborations between UK artist Raleigh Ritchie and Kendrick Lamar/TDE producer Sounwave has surfaced in the shape of “Never Say Die”. On the track, R.R. opines woefully over the geographic distribution of his recent heartbreaks (Paris, L.A., Brighton are not spared) to the complement of Sounwave’s wavy West Coast production. Review: Robert Delong @ Lure, Los Angeles 05/28/15

Lexus Pop-Up Concert Series Powered By Pandora Featuring Robert DeLong

“Brands and bands are the current trend of the music industry. One helps the other get exposure to a specific market and the other has money and will pay for things… nice things. Thursday night at Lure in Hollywood, Pandora and Lexus threw together quite an incredible showcase. With an onlooking row of cars, selfie sticks for photo and hashtag, and indie electronica wiz Robert Delong playing his latest, it was a gig to remember.

Glassnote-backed, and originally from Seattle, Robert Delong played a multitude of songs from his upcoming release In The Cards (9/18) and the 2013 release Just Movement. Per his oeuvre, the Delong’s gadgets were in full force (Wii remote and other awesome things) as R.D. blasted through singles like “Just Movement”, “Long Way Down” and “Happy”. Everything Everything – Regret (Oceaán Remix)

oceaan

UK indie vets Everything Everything latest single “Regret” is the recipient of a wildly dynamic and vast palette remix by Belgian in Manchester Oceaán. The juxtaposition of textures used by Oceaán is on another level; clanky minimal drums, whirling looped-up vocals, synths careening in every which way. Listen.

Rivver – Am I OK (Feat. Milk & Bone)

rivver

Montreal beat-smith producer Rivver captures a sensational electronic aesthetic with the help of fellow Canadian artists electric-pop duo Milk & Bone on new track “Am I Ok”; which aside from its raw display of emotion and tender expressive vocal beauty excels for its really cool psychedelic vibe dark-side-of-the-moon sonic divide towards the end of the song. Great track! Reviewed by Erin Shay.
