Khaled hooks up a heater with a cast of usual Khaled suspects, Rozay Weezay and Drizzay. The beat is ace and is the definite highlight of the track.

Drake – Fireworks (feat. Alicia Keys)a vid for “enjoy ya self v2” off slakah the beatchild’s “soul movement vol 1” LP surfaced in the last couple weeks. the vid itself is cool. but damn, what a dope song. the track goes deep, from the great vocal harmonies and cool drum mix/rhythmic elements to drake, where has this drake been? like it. anyway, somehow we’d slept on this one. while we get on our best rise and shine shit, you should do like the song says (version 2).

hmmmm….. what have we here??? accord. to wikipedia (aww yeah pour one out for, wikipedia!) “more milli” producer boi-1da is “currently one of the most sought-after producers in Canada”. can you say r.e.s.p.o.n.s.i.b.i.l.i.t.y.? we can! on “more milli” the toronto beatmaker laces up ym on a pretty buttery beat. but a beat well enough to hold baby’s SICK FLOW??? (jokes!) don’t ask us to decide! drake, as usual, is pretty on point dropping sharp turns of choice phrase… (“about to reach my dreams, i ain’t even got my arms stretched”) shouts to ELHH.

The Pith Boys are back with a fresh new track and a slew of December East Coast dates. The new song comes in the form of “Medusa” which is yet another unexpected sound swerve from the DET duo. Featuring tremolo acoustic guitar and that Ty Dolla $ piano pad (pamp pamp pamp) GP ably wrap up the stylistic disparate-ness with a cool melodic groove that we’re into. Pith are working on new tracks at the abandoned church/recording space Assemble in Detroit (where other D artists like JMSN and Danny Brown chill) and are keen to release more music in the new year. Sample the B3 Premiere of “Medusa” below.
