“Everybody Is On The Run” is an unreleased, and yet to be heard again, song from Noel Gallagher recorded during an Oasis soundcheck in Brazil early May 2009. Oasis nerds like us understand that it rarely gets better than the sound of Noel alone with his guitar, and this tune is no exception. a melancholy track, incredible melody, so simple, so soulful… so NOEL! that being said, the cheif’s new album is gonna be mind blowing!! c’mon now.. even George Martin considers “Noel to be the finest songwriter of his generation.” this record is gonna be MEGA! a rumored track listing and album release date (8/10/2010) is listed below. also below are a few clips of other unreleased tracks that may show up on his solo album…
“NG – 8/10/10

Liam Gallagher’s to be named band, hopefully not called Oasis… and with ex-Oasis members including Andy Bell on guitar, is expected to release a single sometime in October in conjunction with some live dates. also, Liam is putting together a feature film with the team that produced 24 Hour Party People based on a book which he owns the rights about The Beatles circa 1968-1970, titled The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary Of The Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire And Its Wild Rise And Fall.

“his name alone sets the tone for who he is, what he does and the magnitude of his skill set. super-producer xavier “zaytoven” dotson copped his name from the german composer and pianist ludwig van beethoven because of the many similarities the two musicians share. both were born in germany, both mastered the organ and piano at a young age, both boast a genuine interest in music and most notably possessed the same good foresight to align themselves with the key people who could help further their careers. for beethoven it was the dignitaries of vienna, for zaytoven it was gucci mane, king of the streets of east atlanta.”
so tonight’s idol mentor/theme is “songs from jamie foxx movies”, 1) WTF 2) who’s doing the “booty call” soundtrack. that led me to googling the foxx man’s filmography….seriously, 2004, jamie foxx, maybe the all-time best year for anyone ever. not only did dude release films for which he would win an oscar (“ray”), a second oscar nom (“collateral”), and three golden golbe nominations (“ray” (won), “collateral”, “tookie williams story”, in that year jamie was featured on 2 #1 singles (“slow jamz” & “gold digger”)! for real…. holy shit! i can’t recall anyone even coming close to a year or even two/three years like that. maybe cher in the mid to late 80’s? sinatra? not madonna or elvis. yes jamie foxx in the same discussion as/superseding cher, sinatra, elvis, madonna. total mindblower.
newly minted “hottest record in the world” on the zane lowe programme last eve. “xxxo” is the first official single off m.i.a.’s new jam record. shouts to our hood fam @ skoa on the track.
we love the dead weather. the band’s new LP “sea of cowards” (out tomorrow muthafuckas!) boasts banger after banger after banger. this is rock and roll, kids. “blue blood blues” and “the difference between us” are two of our favorite cuts off the record. so stream those suckers, then get into it, then buy “sea of cowards” tomorrow, then $$$$$.
