Australian buzz act Green Buzzard will release their debut “Zoo Fly” single through Mermaid Avenue/Mom + Pop in the US on June 16 (on I OH YOU elsewhere). On “Zoo Fly”, the young Aussies wind through a varying sphere of guitar band influence from Oasis to the Stone Roses expertly hashing it down to a unique and modern and very catchy bit of rock songwriting. The track new video, which we are very pleased to premiere, explores further the 90’s aesthetic including a circle of Gallagher-esque poses and body contortions that would make “Our Kid” feel pretty “supersonic”.
