I’m Danny, & That Is Correct. Myself, Tony Corrao (Guitarist), & Vic Walkus (Sax), Where The Origin Of The Rastus Era Via “The Sounds Of Soul”. We Flipped Out Over Two Horn Bands In Boston, “Steve Colt &The 45’s, & “Roger Pace & The Pacemakers”. I Quit Due To The Fact That I Could Not Keep My Grades At Cleveland State, Due To Playing 6-7 Nights A Week. I Was Replaced By Bocky Boo, A Local Cleveland Singing Star, As We Went Back And Forth Fronting The Band Over The Next Few Years With 3-4 Name Changes, Resulting With “Rastus”.

I Have To Add, Hearing Those Great Boston Groups, We Went For The Two Tenor Sax Sound, Adding Mike Geraci To The Mix. This Was The Magic Cornerstone That Morphed. Lud Hrovat (Drums), & Jimmy Jay Frieden (Bass) Completed The “Sounds Of Soul”.
