Cherokee – End of Summer (Feat. Goto)

Ah yes, it’s 2017 and finally someone (the great Cherokee) has sampled the main riff (one of classic rock’s greatest) from the Eagles “I Can’t Tell You Why” and made a house track out of it. Listen to “End of Summer” below and check out of this photo of Don Henley with a perm.

TULPA & BLANKTS – Ten Missed Calls

Alternative Pop duo Tulpa and Blankts present the “Storytales” EP. A woozy 4 track project that features none other than gnash. What really makes their music stand out is Tulpa’s classical influence and production abilities that’s woven in tastefully throughout the whole project. It’s perfectly intricate and simplistic all at once. You can stream EP track “Ten Missed Calls” below and the full EP at Soundcloud

Four Tet – Daughter

Four Tet’s latest album is smoother than butter. The transitions are beautiful and as always, this guy delivers some major melodies. One track that especially stood out of me on his new release, New Energy is called “Daughter”. The repetitive beat creates a sense of cool collectiveness throughout the entirety of the track while the ebbing and flowing of the piano and vocals create some excitement. Head over to Spotify to stream it.

Sam Bruno – Hello Hater (WRLD Remix)

The Dutch future bass legend, WRLD, has delighted my ears with his recent remix of Sam Bruno’s “Hello Hater.” Playful vocals ride atop perky synths and bubbly percussion, creating a wondrous atmosphere reminiscent of a children’s picture book. If you’re looking for a fun, euphoric dance track to fuel this weekends adventures, you’re in the right place.

San Holo – I Still See Your Face

San Holo delivers his signature sound in his newest track entitled, “I Still See Your Face.” The sweet melody of this track has stayed stuck in my head for a few days. It’s emotional, fun, and quirky all at the same time. Check out this track, and catch him in your city during his upcoming world tour.

Kainalu – Love Nebula

Kainalu’s sweet psychedelic vibes won me over within seconds on his track, “Love Nebula.” If you’re a fan of Toro y Moi or Washed Out, definitely check out this guy. I think this one-man-band is here to stay and I’m definitely looking forward to more music from him.

Luke Marzec – Another Guy

One of our favorite records of 2017 is “Another Guy” the first track online from Luke Marzec. Galvanized by a raspy, very soulful main vocal and and neatly juxtaposed instrumental elements (hushed 1/32 note electrics mark out an otherwise woozy outer space aesthetic), “Another Guy” is a very strong debut.

Petit Biscuit & Møme – Gravitation (Feat. Isaac Delusion)

On Petite Biscuit’s Soundcloud, he shares a personal quote about his latest collaborative track with Møme called “Gravitation” featuring Isaac Delusion.
“Gravitation is the fruit of my friendship with Møme, that developed since the beginning of our own projects. We share a lot of artistic references and a certain philosophy of life. This track is the fusion of our two artistic world and is composed between our travels and shows in many countries.”
This track offers a twist on the typical Petit Biscuit track with the complimentary sounds of Møme. Enjoy.
