B3 fave L.A. band Sego’s latest stream is “Fool Around” from upcoming “A Long Long Way From The Fringe” EP out September 11 on Dine Alone Records. The L.A. twosome ably blend pop primacy and a keen feel for rhythm and song construction on “Fool Around” which we’ve been bumping on the reg. Premiere: Kassassin Street – Radio Silence

Portsmouth UK upstarts Kassassin Street debut lead track “Radio Silence” from their forthcoming first EP. The five piece have been accumulating a bit of a buzz on England South Coast, selling out shows in Portsmouth, Southampton and Worthing as well as appearances in the Hype Machine Popular Chart and Spotify Viral Chart. “Radio Silence” is a kinetic jolt English power pop of the best sort bridging accessibility and songwriting smarts with a visceral guitar-led aesthetic that is very impressive. Premiere: Haux – Caves

Berkshire UK native Woodson Black a/k/a Haux channels pinpoint modern pop songwriting (think Ben Leftwich or Aquilo) through the frame of sweeping and stunning electronic instrumentation. Single “Caves” with its numerous turns of brilliant melody and broad but subtle hook-laden accessibility amounts to a wide-net platform from which the talented Haux can build a recording career. New Zealand producer Isaac Aesili outfits Vandetta’s new one “Number One” with an expansive jazz-infused new mix. The Aesili remix is a component part of Vandetta’s new remix EP, due August 14th, that will feature brand new takes on tracks from the Singaporean artist’s 2013 self-titled debut EP. Premiere: House of Blondes – I Always Wanted To Live Like That

New York trio House of Blondes will follow up their lauded 2012 LP Clean Cuts on August 1st with new second LP Stranger Still. Second single, “I Always Wanted To Live Like That”, succeeds on it’s beautiful and sweeping turns of melody that when sat within the frame of the track’s dramatic droning synths blend into some really stunning and affecting chord voicings. Premiere: My Body – BKNY (Wild Ones Remix)

Brooklyn-based duo My Body ready new “Six Wives Remixed” EP. To complement the twosome’s recent Bug Hunt Records EP release, My Body have commissioned QQQ, Peter Fonda, Palemen and new favorites Wild Ones to remix tracks from the six song set. On their remix for “BKNY” (which we are very pleased to premiere), Wild Ones select for a spacious unhurried frame for My Body singer Jordan Bagnall’s warmly sonorous alto with A+ results. Premiere: Little Wolves – Home (Prod. RAC)

Little Wolves are the L.A.-based project of longtime collaborators Samuel Jacob and Ronnie Watson. For new track “Home” the band have team with super producer Andre Anjos a/k/a the prime mover of the indie hitmakers RAC. “Home”, which will be released as a single as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s Listen Up! series (also featuring tracks from AWOLNATION x Steve Aoki, Baby Baby and Gemini Club), is an excellent neatly-tipped synth-pop number fitted with pinpoint hooks and RAC’s signature production shine. UK label Killing Moon’s New Moons compilation is one of music’s best and most consistent sources for early music from about to breakout bands. Slaves, Fickle Friends, Laurel, Racing Glaciers and many more have made pivotal pre-breakthrough appearances on the compilation. New Volume IV which is out digitally on June 22 carries carefully constructed playlist that includes tracks from Magic Man, HUNTAR, Racing Glaciers and Moors. “I Don’t Give A” is the debut track online for New York-based singer Jojee. “I Don’t Give A” which is produced by Hypem remix monster Mickey Valen cruises a summery, piano-led frame boosted by Jojee’s neat melodically cool alto. Jojee recently collaborated with electro hitmakers Savoy and Sound Remedy and is plotting further solo material in the very immediate future. Premiere: Gemini Club – Fret and Regret

Gemini Club are the Chicago-based band of producer/keyboardist Dan Brunelle, lead singer/guitarist Tom Gavin, DJ/electronics Gordon Bramli and drummer Ryan Luciani. The CHI crew broke through last year with their Sirius Alt Nation #2, the anthemic “Sparklers”. Here, GC return with the rhythmic indie rock and roll of “Fret and Regret”. Galvanized by clanking syncopated bass, layered polyrhythms and handclaps and scene set with stabs of percussive guitar measured just right, “Fret and Regret” is a confident and powerful reminder of just how good Gemini Club can be. We’re very pleased to B3 Premiere “Fret and Regret” the new single from Gemini Club.

Premiere: Among Savages – If You See Her

L.A. via Nashville artist Peter Barbee a/k/a Among Savages is readying three new singles for release this summer. “If You See Her”, a cooly layered track built around chant-y/vaguely gospel-derived melodic phrases and a visceral punchy repeating synth figure, is the first release of the trio and very comfortably earns the B3 co-sign of approval.
