The owl man takes DC’s “Say My Name” and in the style of 2013 slows it down, smooths it out, spooks it out (with an assist from Cocaine 80’s collaborator James Fauntleroy) and scores an engaging and heartened viber that only gets realer on the third, fourth, etc listens.

London-via-Australia singer Josef Salvat, who’s “This Life”” is one of the best tracks of 2013 thusfar, releases new track “Hustler”. We keep expecting that Brandy “Boy Is Mine” vocal to snake it’s way into the mix; but our Swedish friend uses “Boy” as an exercise in restraining away from an overexposed trend (looped 90’s R&B vocals).
