Forever Cult – Tunnel Vision

forevercult

Welcome Leeds UK band Forever Cult to B3SCI. “Tunnel Vision”, the band’s new track for Too Pure Singles Club, walks a balance of being catchy as all hell and a really strong song while dabbling in a bit of 90’s-ness without sounding contrived or forced or losing believe-ability (though the track would sound ace on WXYZ’s ALL ALTERNATIVE SUNDAY NIGHT BUZZTRACKS dated 10/28/95). DIET – Your House

diet

Melbourne AU band DIET stream strong debut track “Your House”. “Your House” traffics in the 80’s UK indie jangle that captures blogger hearts around the globe. DIET’s iteration is particularly effective in that while the influences of The Smiths and Bunnymen are clear, “Your House”s melodic qualities (particularly in the hook) and neat guitar arrangements are a synthesis of ideas very much their own. Stream “Your House” below.

Ardyn – Help Me On My Way

ardyn

“Help Me On My Way” is the second preview track from Gloucestershire UK brother-sister duo Rob and Katy Peterson a/k/a Ardyn’s forthcoming debut EP. “Help Me On My Way”, which follows maiden single “Universe”, is a mighty indie pop statement of intent built on a big/anthemic set of melodies that unmistakable XL acoustic guitar/bass chug and an overall sonorousness that is as magnetic as its familiar. Ardyn’s “Universe” EP is out November 13 on National Anthem.

Michael Christmas – Grab Her Hand (Feat. Mac Miller)

michaelchristmas

Michael Christmas’s debut album What a Weird Day dropped recently featuring the likes of Mac Miller and Logic and with production from Nate Fox Rami Beatz and more. “Grab her Hand” (the track listed) showcases Christmas’s clever lyricism over a vaguely psychedelic beat produced by a team of the aforementioned Rami Beats and Nate Fox with Ashe. Eliza Shaddad – Wars

elizashaddad

UK songwriter Eliza Shaddad announces new “Wars” EP with gritty quieting title track. “Wars” which will be the follow-up to 2014’s great “Waters” EP was produced by Mercury-nominated Chris Bond and Shaddad describes the EP as having a “more brutal sound”. We dig the upped urgency indicated by the track “Wars”‘s sound and are stoked to hear more.

Marz Leon – Soree

unnamed (10)

Ooh, quite like this one a lot. “Soree” is brand new from L.A. singer Marz Leon. “Soree” catches a quiet after hours feel (replete with 3 A.M. synths and lines of sax wafting in and out of the mix) capturing a potency and focus that we really like and that is immediately magnetic.

Atlas Genius – Molecules (Penguin Prison Remix)

Atlas Genius, the Australian band who has broken through in the US in the last 24 months with their international hit “Trojans”, is preparing a new remix EP for great follow-up single “Molecules”. Here, dance music heavyweight Penguin Prison fit a a dynamic set of feet-movin’ synths and a big crossover-styled beat to “Molecules” neat pop hooks. The resulting mix is a really good dance-flavored swerve for the AG sound that we dig. We’re pleased to B3 Premiere Penguin Prison’s new remix for Atlas Genius’ “Molecules” single which is available for your listening perusal below!
