Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman recently did this re-flip of the David’s Lyre track “In Arms”. Talk about a winner! Mr. Steadman takes the best parts of the original track (vocal melodies, vocal rhythms) and puts them over some of the best bits of current UK electro (poppy drums, glitched up percussive vocal samples, r&b/house influenced synth tones). The result is one million pound megatron bomb of a track. Get into it below!

LA’s Funeral Party are one of our favorite new bands. The band’s blend of killer melodies and kinetic beats have us bowled the fuck over. The band releases tomorrow their “Live at the BBC” EP, a recording of a set the band recently did across the pond PLUS some pretty sick bonus Dave Sitek remixes. “Jen and Soda” is 1 of 6 new slow jams on Mux Mool’s “Drum 2” EP. The set features some pretty smooth hip-hop influenced electronica, cool beats, hushed atmospheres, all that. But also, all 6 songs on the EP were composed and recorded on AIRPLANES! SICK!
