Everest have toured with the likes of Neil Young, Wilco, and My Morning Jacket, and hit the road again today with Minus the Bear, concluding with sets at Bonnaroo and KCRW. be sure to catch them! to sum it up, “Let Go” is a great song that has words like HIT and SUMMER JAM written all over it. and if you don’t have this track stuck in your head the rest of the day after just three listens (and can prove it), then you have just earned $1.00, courtesy of b3science. deal?
seriously. dude puts out great records. “the way i see it”, “instant vintage” , even the old tony toni tone shit are always in rotation. saadiq always comes packing the GREAT melodies, COOL rhythmic shit & CANDY SWEET hooks. if you’re not already, do your ears the favor, and get yourself hip to just some really classic classic music.

“The Ghost Who Walks” is the new single and title track previewed here from model/songstress/wife of Jack White – Karen Elson’s debut LP. the album, also produced by hubby Jack, will be available everywhere via Third Man/XL on May 25. the track is whimsical and drab, yet elegant in all the right ways. we especially love those keys..
