Patsy Cline tracked “He Called Me Baby” during her last recording sessions in 1963. the track was issued after her death and became a top 25 country hit in early ’64. others, including most recently one eskimo, have found inspiration in versions of this song, but it’s Candi Staton’s take that really does it the justice it deserves. check it.

so basically, this is just about as good as we’d hoped it would be. “Beat The Devil’s Tattoo,” is the killer title track off the band’s 5th LP due out on march 8. this album is by far one of our most anticipated of the year, and we are straight stoked to get our hands on it. shouts to We All Want Someone To Shout For, for being all over this gem.
