“renegade” is new from bergen, norway duo kings of convenience. the song, taken from the group’s “declaration of dependence” LP, is stunning. “renegade”, as is characteristic of most great music, takes us, picks up, and transports us somewhere else; faraway spaces, tropical climes, warm breezes. listening to “renegade”, we’re already there, “letting go/in doubt of what is thought and what is real”. press play and join us and drift…..
Kings of Convenience – Renegade

LA county’s The Stevenson Ranch Davidians make some truly inspiring folk music on their new LP Life & Death. they’re a new favorite here at b3sci and how can you not dig the sunniness and stomping soulful vibes on “Feelin Good”?? sure their band name definitely sounds like a cult, but when they’re chanting “feel like feelin’ good” it’s like, YYYEP sign us up!! haha, still not sold? check this album artwork, these guys definitely party with this guy.. dig it dec
in November ABC debut’s a new TV series titled V. cool and all, but somewhere along the line ABC must have passed on this guy (see below). don’t ask us why, he’s clearly the real GEM. and since we’re not sure if it can get more epic than this cat, the contest goes, who can go the longest watching this video before deciding he’s insane??? reptile aliens feeding on children seals the deal here. but most importantly, how come he got hooked up with the advance of V and we didn’t?! wtf.
off Devotion Implosion, “Beauty” is the new single from LA shoeglam rockers Gliss. like Morning Light, this tune has a lot of the right pieces.. solid hooks, nice arrangement ideas, and an engaging overall sound. a radio edit just might do “Beauty” decent. either way Gliss clearly stand out in the greater number of their contemporaries.
