the way i look at it, all artists have a specific time in their career where they’re at their artistic peak. riding high off the massive success of The Joshua Tree, Rattle and Rum‘s film exudes the confidence that only a band who thinks, believes and acts like the best can make. a recommended watch for those haven’t seen it yet. see why below.
p.s. – it being the 80’s at the time, the female lead in Harlem’s New Voices of Freedom gospel choir totally schools bono. she should have been handed a record deal on a silver platter.
