Manic Street Preachers – I’m Leaving You For Solitude

the Manic Street Preachers are back with a new track from their 10th studio effort, Postcards from a Young Man – expected September 27th. the band has claimed that the album will be “one last shot at mass communication”. either way that pans out, this track is some solid britpop and it’s great to hear these guys still in fine form.

THROWBACK SATURDAYS: Oasis – Don’t Look Back In Anger

timeless track, off a timeless album, by a timeless band. legend has it Noel gave little bro Liam the choice to sing either “Don’t Look Back In Anger” or “Wonderwall,” but one of them were gonna be for him. the rest is history and we’re convinced the right decisions were made. also if you can, get your hands on the single. it’s got a great b-side on it called “Step Out,” a would be album track for What’s The Story Morning Glory before rights disputes with Stevie Wonder, and so you have “The Swamp Song” edit instead..

in other Oasis news, Noel has a solo project on it’s way expected to drop by the end of the year, and Liam along with rest of the most recent big O line up have finished a new album as Beady Eye, produced by Steve Lillywhite…. expected in October. and for both, we’re stoked!

purchase it all… SERIOUSLY!

Andre 3000 – I Do (King Most Mix)

per King Most:

Dear Mr. 3 Stacks,

How has your summer been? I see that your buddy Antwan dropped an album recently. Do you mind dropping some FULL-LENGTH material before the year ends? If not, I’m going to have to keep taking these random one-minute leaks and adding some of your other verses to make them sort of resemble full songs. I know you creative types, but come least blow our wigs back with a guest verse a la “Walk It Out” or the above, “Everybody”.
