Ejeca – Ascension

ejeca

Irish Londoner wiz-producer/DJ Garry McCartney a.k.a. Ejeca (who we last discussed in 2013 for his low-key intimate-vibes garage-inspired house gem “Rosario”) blows our mind with a glorious carefully-laid sprawling-vibed sense of simplicity on “Ascension” the new sense-drenched raw-energy slow-trickling beat-heavy acid-house techno jam that is one of three tracks off Ejeca’s upcoming “Litmus” EP (out now via his own label Exploris). vanessaelisha

We’re caught up on the divine r&b dynamic and heated-sultry vocal chemistry of B3 vocalist faves Vanessa Elisha and CVIRO on new one “Latency” an Aussie-talent-studded (GXNXVS-produced) joint project which outright excels for finely-detailed mesh of softly tapering vocal harmonies and stellar beautifully-integrated soft-edged stylish-sexy array of beats from GXNXVS. RKCB – Daydreaming

rkcb

About a year ago we covered LA-based electronic r&b artist duo RKCB (a.k.a. Riley Knapp and Casey Barth) for their lovely straightforward no-pretense quality immense hit “Elision”. We’re vibing out big-time to their oozy-synthed sentimental-melodic airy-atmospheric new one called “Daydreaming” a track we like immensely for its adorning artful-romantic lighthearted lyrical prose, bright-toned melodious synth-saturated temperament and subtle persuasive light-touch percussive sub-current. NYC duo Surrender The Spirit successfully endeavor an impeccable mosh of sentiments on their picturesque kitchy-vintage synth-centered new one called “We” a track that we have grown to love over the last couple of days for its hypnotic-soothing well-mannered sitting-pretty amazing-vibed vocal harmonics and balanced rhythm-centered guitar-reverb-tinged pop instrumentals. HONNE – No Place Like Home

honne_001

B3 favorite UK dynamo duo HONNE have hit our pages many times this year with their supremely smooth vibrantly-emotive intensely-moving sexy-sultry vocal-led pop. Earlier this week HONNE hit the blog scene with the full dose of their new four-song “Over Lover” EP which features three uniquely awesome new tracks to follow the EP’s very good on-point (B3 lauded) recent release first single “Loves The Jobs You Hate”. We especially dig the sound of “No Place Like Home” the duo’s vividly-sensuous receptive-vulnerable Jones-vocaled track from the EP for its warm over-the-top romantic sense of true attraction and extremely lovely warm-hug-vibe melodic vocal duet. Not surprisingly, we love the very excellent sweet-spectrum of emotions and sounds on “Over Lover” and recommend it whole heartedly. Top quality stuff HONNE. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Oh Wonder – Heart Hope

ohwonder

Oh Wonder woos us yet again with their sweet-vibration singer songwriter magic on “Heart Hope” the duo’s last song to release in advance of their impending debut out later this week. Oh Wonder, who we started covering last October, first captured our ear on “Shark” the wily wild-side golden-touched song number two from the duo’s one track a month for a year series; a project that has consistently held our attentions and impressed us with its amazing thoughtfully-emoted melody-backed songwriting. We like “Heart Hope” as a perfectly quieting project cake-topper conclusion to Oh Wonder’s dynamite prolific series as it beautifully showcases their (now signature) slow-simmering luminous-synth-touched muted-paced melody-driven style and adds a little chic end-note twist of witty-uplifting inner-self-worldview songwriting wisdom into the mix. Premiere: Summer Heart – Nothing Can Stop Us Now

summerheart

Nobody does sunny infectious indie pop like a Swede. Summer Heart the project of musician and Swedish person David Alexander is back today with a new single and a new North American tour. “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” is the fresh song in question and it is very sunny and very infectious; the track is a hopeful jaunt through neat jangly guitars and a set of sing-a-long melodies that immediately pull you into them. Sample the B3 Premiere of “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” and look for the release at retail on October 16.

Autograf – Dream (Pat Lok Remix)

patlok

B3 new fave Pat Lok has endeared a place on our favorite artists of 2015 list (thus far) for his distinctly-flaunty vibrant-synth-driven dancey-tropical blend of charismatic house music. We are drawn to Lok’s overtly pause heavy outstanding-artistry chop-y editing vibe that has come to define his signature style (which reverberates beautifully throughout his very catchy well-pointed recent body of work). Give a listen to Lok’s latest chipper intro-ed up-vibed percussion-laced reverb-y dance-friendly rework (of Autograf’s melodic-wood-tone-centric track “Dream”) that we think (refreshingly) treads a tad on the noir side in comparison to Lok’s previous works due to his choice in vocal sample and use of cold punchy metallic euro-house sensibilities that kick in late in the track. Brace yourself for more good stuff from Pat Lok, a true-to-life talent who we hear is a hoot at his live DJ stints. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Astronauts, Etc. – Shake It Loose

astronauts

In June B3 covered Oakland five-member indie pop band Astronauts, etc. (which is led by frontman vocalist Anthony Ferraro) for their low-key wordy gem track “Eye To Eye”. We’re pleased to run across the band’s slightly-more-soulful emotive-approached new one called “Shake It Loose” a receptive vocal-led jam that draws at our attentions with its touching heart-strings-attached lyrical feels and moody-sultry melodic vocals. Another timeless piece of phenomenally straightforward profound material “Shake it Loose” is the fourth track to release off Astronauts, etc.’s upcoming debut full-length album Mind Out Wandering which is out on September 18th.
