Its most excellent to hear Liam Bailey’s powerhouse vocal again. Bailey is back with a great new tune in the form of “Brother, Why You Gotta Love Her?”. The track features the recently re-emerged Maverick Sabre (we loved his “Drifting” track from last month), and puts Bailey’s A-level vocal at the fore over a spare rhythm-driven instrumental. One of our favorite emerging bands out is right here in Los Angeles in the form of duo NEIL FRANCES. NF’s sound and knack for rhythm-driven hooks mixed to air-y but still direct melodies and tune creation has us pretty knocked out. If you’re unfamiliar, “Took a While” is the title track from the band’s just released EP that most definitely deserves your streaming (or otherwise) attention ASAP.
